Portable onsite line boring

Pin bores wear. Once the hole has gone oval the pin starts to knock, the wear speeds up, and a job that was a bore and a bush turns into a much bigger repair. Line boring takes that worn hole back to a true, round, correctly sized bore so a new pin and bush fit the way they should.

The whole point of what we do is that the gear is portable. Rather than pulling a machine off the job and floating it to a workshop, we set up on the machine where it stands and bore it in place. Every setup is tailored to the machine in front of us and to the conditions on the site.

We bore main boom and chassis holes, lifting ram holes on the chassis, dipper arm bores and hauler main booms. Where a bore needs filling before it can be cut back to size, we weld it up first and bore it afterwards.
